John T. Mockler is a Shareholder at Munck Butrus Carter, practicing in the Intellectual Property section as a patent attorney registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Representative Experience:

• Represented technology client specializing in video processing and prepared a patent for a single IC TV tuner that was the subject of a patent infringement litigation in which the client was awarded in excess of $22 million in infringement damages and attorney fees and also won a settlement for additional future royalties.
• Represented a Fortune 500 semiconductor manufacturer in patent licensing, litigation support, infringement and invalidity analysis, as well as patent preparation and prosecution, including reexamination.
• Represented a wireless technology company in conducting due diligence and theft of trade secret analysis in the acquisition of a patent portfolio acquired by a Fortune 500 wireless technology corporation.
